I have worked at the Ross Global Academy for the 2008 – 2009 school year.

My position as Technology Integration Specialist will end at the end of the current school year due to budget cuts at the school.

During my year at Ross Global Academy I have:

á      Worked with faculty, finding age appropriate materials and programs to support their curricula.

á      Co-taught with teachers integrating technology in the classroom. Programs I have used include ÔComic LifeÕ in grades two and three; ÔiMovieÕ in grade two and three; ÔkidspirationÕ grades K – 3, ÔAdobe FireworksÕ in grade two and 6 - 8. I have also worked on keyboarding, paint programs and newsletters in 1 – 3 and 6 -8. We have used iWork and Office for other lessons in k-3 and 6 – 8.

á      Worked as Network Administrator using a Mac platform.

á      Used Filemaker to administrate student and staff email accounts and teacher lessons

á      Co-responsible for the school's webpage creating material for the gallery section.

á      Initiated an audio and video synchronous communication program between our school (3rd-8th grade) and other schools. Students worked together in real-time using iChat.

á      Accompanied 8th grade students on a weekly internship after school, offered by an international advertising company, JWT, facilitating student blogs/videos/photos to help them reflect on their experience.

Google docs, sites, etc. example for Google Sites, http://sites.google.com/a/rossglobalacademy.org/jwt/Home that I set up for a eighth grade enrichment group to blog in .

We use Google calendar for teachers to request laptops (we currently have three carts that are shared around so the calendar has become very important) and Google docs as well as the mail service

Google Sketchup I have used for the past few years.

We use iChat for class exchanges. For example, my wife is the music teacher at St LukeÕs School in the West Village NYC and we have been doing live music workshops between our 2nd, 3rd and 7th grade classes and hers. Next week we will have a live iChat with a school in Toronto and our third grade class.

I use Tux Paint with kindergarten and first grade and iWorkÕs Keynote in the lower grades for presentations.

I use Comic Life for grades two and three to create stories in.

Kidspiration for grades K – 3.

I use MITÕs Scratch , http://scratch.mit.edu/, in grades five and six.

Currently we have built all our databases including teacherÕs lessons in Filemaker.
